MILWAUKEE, WI- Milwaukee Tool has breathed new life into a core category of tools for stick framers, door/window installers, and remodelers with the introduction of REDSTICK™ Expandable Levels. Able to extend to various sizes for applications where layout versatility is necessary, the new levels are built with reinforced internal components to resist damage and wear upon heavy use for longer life and no maintenance.  

Other similar levels available on the market are built with exposed plastic locks that are too flimsy and vulnerable to breaking. The REDSTICK™ Expandable Levels improve on this with a durable lock that is inset and protected by an I-beam frame. The integrated adjustable mechanism provides ultimate slide control over the extension arm.  

For the very best readability and visual accuracy, the new levels feature SHARPSITE™ Vial Technology. Black bands on the vials create high contrast edges that make the magnified bubble easier to read and deliver precision-grade accuracy especially when users need to easily check plate-to-plate accuracy while stick framing.

Built to withstand challenging jobsite conditions, the SHARPSITE™ vials are engineered with high-impact acrylic which delivers 10X more durability than the standard competitive block vials and protects the accuracy over the life of the level.

The magnetic model includes amplified rare-earth magnets which provide maximum holding power in common metal applications like installing commercial doors and windows. Precision milled measuring surfaces on the top and bottom guarantee accuracy in all working positions. The larger 6-1/2’ – 12’ level can plumb up to 12’ structures and collapses to a portable 78” size.
